The Gestra UNA25PS is a cyclic condensate lifter with a nominal diameter of DN40 and a pressure rating of PN40, featuring DIN/ANSI flanged connections. It supports a driving steam pressure of 3 to 13 barg and uses externally supplied driving steam to lift condensate into the system circuit. Application scenarios

Condensate recovery and lifting in steam systems

As a DN40, PN40 cyclic condensate lifter with flanged connections, the UNA25PS uses externally supplied driving steam to lift condensate and return it to the condensate circuit of the steam system. During operation, the back pressure must not exceed 5 bar, and the driving steam pressure must exceed the back pressure by 1 bar.

Inlet pipeline length requirement

During installation, the DN40 inlet pipeline must be at least 2.5 m long.

How does the UNA25PS work?

As a condensate lifter, the UNA25PS uses a float to open the motive steam inlet; the motive steam displaces the condensate, after which the float drops and the cycle repeats. This enables continuous discharge of condensate in steam systems while reducing steam loss.

What is the main difference between the UNA25PS and the UNA25PK?
