Bray HP/HX Series standard-port threaded ball valves deliver reliable performance for high-pressure instrumentation in fluid and gas measurement applications. The HP/HX Series features a floating ball design, providing bubble-tight shutoff, smooth 90° rotation, and low operating torque. The 3HP Series threaded ball valve is available in 6,000 psi (WOG) versions. The Bray 3HX Series threaded ball valve offers 10,000 psi (WOG) versions. Both HP and HX Series threaded valves are designed to ASME B16.34, feature a three-piece construction, are made from 316 stainless steel, manufactured to NACE specifications, and tested to API 598. Safety features of the 3HP Series include an internally mounted blowout-proof stem, pinned-end connections that prevent accidental loosening or disassembly, and locking and service kits to secure the valve in open/closed positions. Optional features for HP/HX standard-port threaded ball valves include control or indicator handles, travel stop pins, live-loaded packing, and ISO 5211 actuator mounting.
