Bray 5000/6000 Series three-piece full-port ball valves are available with stainless steel or carbon steel bodies, 316 stems and balls, RPTFE seats, and optional NPT threaded or socket-weld connections. They are suitable for manual shutoff and isolation in industrial piping from -46°C to 232°C. The center-body design enables in-line maintenance while keeping both end connections in place and is also suitable for piping within OEM equipment.

Installation & maintenance notes

Avoid Heat Damage to Sealing Components During Socket Welding

The valve uses ASME B16.11 socket-weld end connections. During socket-weld installation, prevent welding heat from being directly transferred to the seat and sealing areas to avoid heat damage to sealing components such as RPTFE seats and degradation of sealing performance.
