Proximity Sensor 54-GS Series

The 54-GS Series uses two independent inductive non-contact sensors to indicate the fully open and fully closed valve positions respectively. The non-contact detection method avoids mechanical wear and reduces potential issues such as switch welding, arcing, and sparking, providing stable position feedback for the valve control system.

The output type, supply voltage, and switching frequency required by the control system should be confirmed. This series offers PNP and DC 2-wire outputs, both 2 x normally open type; PNP operating voltage is 10 to 30 V DC, DC 2-wire output operating voltage is 5 to 30 V DC. PNP switching frequency is up to 1000 Hz, DC 2-wire output up to 500 Hz. Specific configuration should be confirmed based on actual model and application conditions.

This series is suitable for NAMUR/VDI VDE 3845 mounting and can be installed directly on actuators compliant with VDI/VDE 3845 standards. The sensors feature LED indication for sensor power, switch, and solenoid coil status, enabling quick on-site operational status verification. The product uses a non-contact, maintenance-free design. In daily use, the connector or cable gland connection can be inspected via LED status, and the mounting area should remain well-sealed.
