Features and Benefits
A Enclosure
Compact, weatherproof VSM is UL certified NEMA Type 4, 4x and IP66/67. Aluminum base and cover provide excellent corrosion, wear, and impact resistance.
B High-Visibility Position Indicator
Impact-resistant dome indicator provides visual open and close indication. To reverse the open and close visual output, simply rotate the indicator dome 90 degrees. Position indication can be changed without removing the switch box aluminum cover and exposing the internal wiring of the VSM.
C Neck Secondary Seal
Ensures the indicator area is isolated from the internal area of the VSM. The secondary seal prevents water ingress if the dome or dome seal is damaged due to harsh field conditions.
D Captured Cover Bolts
The cover is secured to the base with stainless steel captured bolts located outside the sealing area.
E Protective Washer
Transparent non-metallic, corrosion-resistant washer prevents coating damage when tightening cover bolts.
F O-Ring Provides Weather Protection
An O-ring seal between the cover and base provides weatherproof sealing to prevent water ingress and internal corrosion.
G Cam Sensor
Splined cam design allows easy and accurate switch trip point adjustment without tools.
