The Bray Series 942 vortex breaker knife gate valve offers an engineered solution with a standard replaceable vortex breaker. This feature disrupts cyclone formation, preventing premature gate and body damage, and ensuring long-term operational efficiency and reliability. The Hi-Chrome vortex breaker (500 HB) is designed to disrupt the cyclone formed by reject waste (staples, wire, nails, sand, etc.), thereby extending service life. The adaptability of the Bray Series 942 vortex breaker knife gate valve spans multiple industry applications, including knotters to rejects, pulpers, HD cleaners, cyclones, and junk collectors.
