Product Overview
Rugged valve for slurry, erosive, and corrosive applications
Exceptional Durability for Slurry Control Applications
Bray Series 39 slurry control valve features a rugged design to meet the most severe service requirements for applications involving slurry, erosive, corrosive, and scaling media.
Bray Series 39 valves are constructed from durable high-grade wear-resistant materials such as sintered silicon carbide ceramic or chromium-molybdenum iron. These durable valves offer the highest quality, lowest total cost slurry control solution on the market, enhancing product reliability and performance.

Features and Benefits

A Adjustable Packing
Easy access to stem packing without removing the actuator.
B Direct Actuator Mounting
One-piece high-strength 17-4PH stainless steel on all sizes. Bray’s double D stem design and ISO 5211 top plate allow direct mounting of Bray actuators, reducing packaging complexity.
C Engineered Stem Bearings
Upper stem bearing features 316 stainless steel housing with TFE/glass lining, lower stem bearing features PSZ ceramic material for exceptional corrosion resistance and resistance to deformation from mechanical load and high temperature.
D Blowout-Proof Stem
A retaining ring system is installed to ensure complete stem retention in the event of an internal stem failure.
E Valve Lining
Bray offers three material options to meet different service requirements and extend product life: chrome iron, tungsten carbide, and Abrasituff material. This design is built to last and minimizes maintenance costs as only a few parts require servicing.
F Control Design
Series 39 is a control valve whose disc does not provide shutoff capability. The disc is designed to maximize flow and offers material options to minimize wear. The valve is capable of 360-degree rotation.
