High-Performance Visual and Electrical Position Indication

Features and Benefits
A Enclosure
Compact weatherproof VSM is UL recognized NEMA Type 4, 4x and IP66/67. Die-cast aluminum cover and base with polyester powder coating provide excellent corrosion, abrasion, impact, and UV resistance.
B High-Visibility Position Indicator
Impact-resistant dome indicator provides visual open and close indication. To reverse the open and close visual output, simply remove the dome and rotate it 90 degrees. Position indication can be changed without removing the cover and exposing the VSM internals.
C Stem Secondary Seal
Ensures the indicator area is isolated from the VSM internal area. The secondary seal prevents water ingress in the event the dome or dome seal is damaged due to harsh field conditions.
D Captive Cover Bolts
The cover is secured to the base with stainless steel captive bolts located outside the sealing area.
E Protective Washer
Transparent non-metallic, corrosion-resistant washer protects the coating when tightening cover bolts.
F O-Ring Seal Provides Weather Protection
An O-ring seal between cover and base provides weather-tight sealing to prevent internal corrosion.
G Cam Sensor
Spline cam design allows easy, accurate switch trigger position setting without tools.

Multiple switch options and configurations available to meet connection requirements.
I Terminals
Clearly marked terminal block is angled toward the user for easy installation.
