Bimetallic Steam Traps

Spirax Sarco bimetallic steam traps are available in multiple product series. The SMC32, SMC32Y, SMC32F and SMC32YF series feature carbon steel construction, while the ISMC32 is a repairable carbon steel design for standard operating conditions. The SM45 is a repairable medium-pressure model, and the HP45 is a high-pressure design that supports in-line maintenance for medium- and high-pressure applications. The SP80 and SP100 series are intended for high-capacity applications. The USM21 uses a sealed design installed with a pipeline connector. When selecting a model, users should focus on system operating pressure, discharge capacity requirements and structural differences such as the need for in-line maintenance.
